A new chapter begins: We are now a part of Aurubis AG

In July 2020, azeti became an important part of Aurubis AG - one of the world's leading suppliers of non-ferrous metals and one of the leading copper recyclers in the world. Since then, we have been supporting the digitalization of Aurubis' production processes with our Internet of Things platform. The goal is to reduce maintenance costs, optimize production, and process raw materials even more efficiently.

Even as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aurubis AG, azeti will continue to operate independently. The focus of our daily work remains on providing cutting-edge software for the industry and serving our customers. In addition to our existing client base, new industry customers are also expected to benefit from our innovative strength in the future.

As part of the acquisition, a new member of the management team was also appointed. Besides Sebastian Koch, Harald Kolbe will also act as managing director in the future. Most recently, Harald has promoted digital transformation in the aviation industry and brings many years of industrial experience to azeti. He is also responsible for setting up the newly founded Digital Innovation Lab at Aurubis.
